A single, dedicated individual will stay in contact with you every step of the way and guide you through the decision-making process. He or she will carefully explain your options, make recommendations at your request, take care of all the small details, and ensure that you and your family’s personal touch is always present.

Growing up, Joe lived above the family funeral home and learned the art of quality funeral service from his father. Deciding to pursue his career in the profession, Joe attended Kent State University, and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Embalming. He is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
As the fourth generation of his family in funeral service, Joe has been the chief visionary behind the business. His drive to provide the best service and the best facilities has shown his devotion to the families in the community. He believes that each family he serves should be treated as part of the Paquelet family.
Respectfully known in the community for his genuine and sincere personality, Joe loves to be involved with his church and other civic organizations. Since 1964, Joe has been an usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. He is also a member of the Holy Name Society, the BPOE #441 and FOE #190, K of C #554 and Bishop Massillon Assemble 4th Degree. Joe is a member and Past President of the Rotary Club, a member of the Massillon Chamber of Commerce, and a 20-year Board Member of the United Way of Western Stark County.
Joe and his wife Charlene have two children, Bud Paquelet and Betsy Paquelet Patrick, a son-in-law, Neal, and two granddaughters, Sophie and Maggie. His interests include the Civil War, travel and golf.

Charlene has been involved with the funeral homes since 1973. She has worked diligently serving community families and helping provide the quality service they deserve. In addition to her many roles, she is also a funeral director licensed by the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
She has a BSED from Ohio University, and was a teacher in the Massillon Public School System. Charlene and Joe Paquelet have been married since 1968, and have a son Bud, a daughter Betsy Paquelet Patrick, and a son-in-law Neal. They also have a two granddaughters, Sophie and Maggie.
Active in the community, Charlene is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Massillon Women's Club, and a Trustee of the Washington High School Scholarship Fund. She enjoys playing bridge, walking and reading.


Glenn brought many years of experience to his role as Manager of Paquelet Funeral Homes and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. After attending Anderson University, Glenn graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, and joined our staff in 1981 and retired January 1, 2019. He is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
Glenn was active in many Massillon civic groups. He was on the advisory board of the Salvation Army and served as board chairman for two years, is a past president of the Massillon Lions Club, is a member of the Clinton Lodge #47 F. & A.M., Al Koran Shrine, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, and the Massillon Shrine Club where he served as president for two years. He is married to Nancy and enjoys spending time with his daughters Katie and Alyson, and grandchildren Mia, Ella, Liam, Gabe, Luka, Leyton & Lennon. In his leisure he enjoys golfing, fantasy baseball and football and playing cards.


Chris joined the firm in 2004 as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He earned his licenses from the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
His community service activities include working with the youth at Remsen Christian Church in Medina and Clinton Lodge #47 F. &A.M. In his spare time he enjoys bike riding and camping. “It has been a pleasure getting to know and serve the community. I truly enjoy helping families during one of the most difficult times of their life.”

Attented Ohio State University and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He was licensed by The Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors in 1987
Tim has been serving families in their time of need since 1987 and joined our staff in 2011.
Tim has a daughter Macie.
Tim is a former member of Galion Lodge 414 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus and the New Washington Knights of Columbus. Tim is a member of St. Barbaras Catholic Church
Tim's hobbies include sailing, model railroading, music and spending time with his family.

Rachel earned her license in 2015 from the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Funeral Service in 2013 from Point Park University in Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She is very compassionate and dedicated to the funeral service industry and honored to be serving the families of Massillon and Stark County.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and their daughter Brooklyn.

Megan is from Massillon and graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 2019, and the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science in 2021. She currently attends the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and will graduate in 2024.
Megan chose funeral service to give back to her community and take care of the Massillon people the way that they have always taken care of her. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as her cat Olive, and taking up new hobbies such as guitar and music. Megan has volunteered with the special education class at Washington High School and many other local organizations.

Ellen received her BSBA degree from John Carroll University. In addition to her Administrative Coordinator duties at the funeral home, she is also the Financial Secretary for First United Methodist Church. Before joining the team, Ellen was an Accountant for Arthur Andersen, and an Accountant/Auditor for LTV (Republic) Steel.
Ellen serves on the Finance Committee, is a Communion Steward and a member of the Friendly Visitor Team of First United Methodist Church. She has a husband, Rich, and two children, Sean and Megan. She enjoys gardening and scrap booking.

Bud grew up in the family business and has been involved with the funeral home literally all his life. He graduated from Thiel College in Business Management as well as the Pittsburgh Mortuary School, where he obtained a degree in Mortuary Science. He is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
He is the son of Joe and Charlene Paquelet and is active with St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He serves on the Board of Directors of Hospice, and in his spare time he enjoys weightlifting, bicycling, and walking.
