William "Sonny" Shultz

William "Sonny" Shultz, 93, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away August 17, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1933 to the late Tony Shultz of Lithuania and Annie (Guidish) Shultz of Bulter, PA.

Sonny was employed at Timken Co. for over 30 years. He and his late wife Mildred enjoyed traveling together whenever they could. He enjoyed "tinkering" on anything with a motor, and you could often times find him in the garage working on something. Sonny had a love for chocolate milk, cheeseballs, and sweets. He will be remembered for his love for family, and his willingness to step in and care for his own.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred F. Shultz; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Tim) Dixon; and sister, Anna Hovis.

He is survived by his sons, Tony (Amber) Shultz and William (Jolene) Shultz II; sister, Joan (Dan) Murphy; nieces, Laura, Linda, and Lisa; grandsons, Tim (Karen) Dixon, and Tom Dixon; great-granddaughters, Kileigh (Jessica) and Madison; great-great-grandson, Colson; and his beloved cat, Maxie.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Paquelet Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
