Warren Shanklin

Warren L. Shanklin, age 83 of Richville, passed away Monday at his daughter's home in Bessemer, PA. Warren retired from Commercial Motor Freight as a truck driver in 1980. He had worked for Timkens as a brick layer for 8 years in the 50's. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where he worked as a custodian and bus driver for 8 ½ years. He was a member of The Catholic Order of Foresters. He was a member of the Teamster Local 92. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. #5047 in Navarre. Warren served in the U.S. Navy as an Armed Guard during WWII. Preceded in death by: Parents; Lewis and Verna Shanklin Wife: Donna (Bowers) Shanklin (February 26, 2004) He is survived by: Daughters: Rhonda (David) Clemens of Columbia, SC Gerianne (John) Klepfer of Bessemer, PA Teresa (David) Richard of North Industry, OH Brothers: Emerson Bud Shanklin of Florida Franklin Shanklin of Moffit Hts. Grandchildren: 5 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. There will be no calling hours. Fr. Robert Gibas will be officiating.
