Walter Junior Russell, 85, of Massillon, passed away on September 10, 2023 at Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born on June 13, 1938 to the late Walter and Mary (Gunten) Russell of Massillon.
Walter was a graduate of Washington High School. He was a veteran of The United States Army,and was a caretaker to many people in need.
Walter is survived by his nieces, Carol Johnson and Mary Anne Williams; many other relatives; and many friends.
A private military service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
