Viola "VI" (Mrs. Roy Williams) Williams

Viola "Vi" (Mrs. Roy Williams) Williams, 78, of Perry Township, passed away on July 11, 2026 at Aultman Hospital.

She was born on March 30, 1948 to the late Robert and Juanita (Madison) Turley, Sr. in Massillon.

Vi was a graduate of Washington High School and National Beauty College. She attended Trinity Gospel Temple for many years. She was very active in anything her family was involved with, PTA, Youth Football, and was the President of The Youth Football Mother's Club, Vacation Bible School at Shiloh Baptist Church, and Band Boosters. Vi was an avid Massillon Tiger Football Fan.

Vi is survived by her loving children, Eric Williams, Montiell Williams, Jade (David) Macias, and Tara Turley; two grandchildren, siblings, Molly Webb and Emanuel Turley; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Williams; and brother, Robert Turley, Jr..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm with a Home Going Celebration starting at 12:30 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, with Pastor Michael T. Lemon, officiating. Burial will follow in the Massillon Cemetery.
