Vernon Lee Reusser

Vernon Lee Reusser, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away June 14, 2026 at the age of 94. He was born in Sardis, Ohio on April 6, 1932 to the late Fred G. and Mildred E. (Eisenbarth) Reusser.

Vernon retired from Babcock and Wilcox at age 50, after retirement he started his own business V & P Enterprise. He enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales, purchasing tools he provided to the Amish up until his late 80s. He also enjoyed golfing, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted member of St. Paul UCC in Navarre.

In addition to his parents, Vernon is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dave Hanson; sisters, Wilda (Roy) Fetty and Martha (Robert) Maag; sister-in-law, Paula Reusser; and brother-in-law, Harry Ice.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Marlene "June" Reusser; daughters, Sandra K. Hanson, and Marjean (Bob) Watson; grandchildren, Shelly (Mike) Vranich and Joel Hanson; great-grandchildren, Claire and Michael Vranich, and Jocelyn and Drew Hanson; siblings, Marilyn Ice, Dean Reusser, Paul (Jenni) Reusser, Dave (Debbie) Reusser, and Dennis (Lisa) Reusser; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Paquelet Funeral Home, and from 10:00am to 11:00am, Friday, June 19, 2026 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 19, 2026 with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
