Verneil A. Harris

Verneil A. Harris, 82, of Canton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 10, 2024 at home .

She was born on December 18, 1941 to the late Anthony and Thelma (Hambach) Roberts in Massillon, OH.

Verneil worked at many area clubs retiring from The Sons & Daughter of Herman. She was a member of Amvets, Eagles #190, and The Sons and Daughters of Herman. Verneil enjoyed golfing, yoga at the rec-center, Bingo, and the spectacle of casino's. She was an avid sports fan especially Tiger Football and Indians. She was a dedicated mother and always hosted family

gatherings.

Verneil is survived by her loving children, Lori (Stacey Grabowski) Harris, Todd (Chris Cotton) Harris, and Robert W. Harris, II; her K-9 companion, Lamb Chop; brother, Anthony "Nip" (Sharyn) Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Harris; and brother, Nick and Linda Roberts.

A private family gathering was held.
