Timothy "Tim" J. Patton

Timothy "Tim" J. Patton, 66, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away April 28, 2025. He was born on March 22, 1959 to the late Richard and Kathleen (Archibald) Patton.

Tim was known for his ornery sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. Tim enjoyed going fishing, NASCAR, and watching football and baseball. Tim enjoyed spending time outside, landscaping, planting flowers and enjoying nature. He was an Ohio and Massillon Tigers sports fan. He also loved listening to music, and spending time in his "man cave" with his friends and family. Tim loved his grandchildren, and cherished the time he got to spend with them.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca Pellegrino and Nancy Patton; and brother, Rick Patton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Leona Patton, who took wonderful care of Tim over the last several years; children, Jody (Derek) Kelsey, Sara Patton, Kate (Frank) Soto; siblings, Randy (Linda) Patton and Peggy (Krist) Gugov; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Jean Block; brother in-law, Jerry Pellegrino; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Paquelet Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
