Terry J. Snyder

Terry J. Snyder, 83, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on June 2, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1942 in Massillon, to the late William and Corinne (Hollwager) Snyder.

Terry was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He was also a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church for over 20 years. He loved fishing, and often took his family on vacations to Rice Lake, Eagle River, WI, and St. Joseph's Island in Ontario, Canada. He was a proud retired steel worker and union member. Terry loved his family more than anything, he was a wonderful father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Snyder, who passed away in January of 2025; and his brother, Richard Snyder.

Terry is survived by his daughters, Amy (Dean) Wagner and Mindy (Michael) Smith; grandchildren, Hannah (Christina Waltz) York and Erin Wagner; sister-in-law, Margaret Snyder; brother-in-law, James Ketter; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church.
