Terry Eckroad, 77, of Massillon, passed away on September 16, 2026.
He was born on June 14, 1949 to Clayton and Ethel Eckroad in Massillon, OH.
Terry worked as a Plumber Pipe Fitter for Local 94 Canton. He was a very proud Army veteran, and volunteered for Whispering Grace Farm. Terry was a member of Ohio Horse Council, working on a number of trails throughout the state of Ohio. Terry was an active outdoorsman and trail rider. For over 40 years, he worked with Yankee Peddler, performing reenactments and giving demonstrations of the Wagon Train time period.
On June 14, 1993, he married Jill Eckroad (Snellenberger). Terry and Jill lived in Massillon, Ohio.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Jill, children, Brian (Donna) Eckroad, Michele (Doug) Boyle, and Diane (Mark) Amstutz, grandchildren Sasha, Cameron, and Addie, Michaela, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Zachary, many great-grandchildren, brothers Jerry (Cheryl) Eckroad and Larry (Barb) Eckroad, and four nieces, Pam (Duane), LeeAnn, Theresa, and Andrea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Ethel Eckroad, and son Bradley Eckroad.
