Teresa graduated from Perry High School, where she began to form the profound connections that she would later cherish in life. She had a deep love for her family, often expressing that spending time with them was one of her greatest joys along with soaking up the sun and taking a dip in the pool. She also enjoyed vacationing on the Gulf or going to Disney World with her family. Teresa would love to host gatherings with her family where everyone would enjoy her delicious cooking. Teresa retired from Wal-Mart in Massillon after working there for over 22 years. Her loving spirit and warmth will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Frank Baker, and her beloved daughter, Hope Baker. Teresa took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Karter McBride, who brought immense joy to her life. Her extended family included her brother, Joseph (Debbie) Barber, Jr., and her loving nieces and nephews: Brian Reda, Christopher Reda, Amy Reda, Angela Barber, Mandy Sturm, Scarlett Thomas, and Dahlia Thornberry. Teresa also leaves behind a long-time friend, Brigette Barton, who was a significant part of her life.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Barber and Joseph Barber, Sr., as well as her sisters, Mary (Sonny) Sturm and Barbara (Michael) Reda. Their memories live on in the hearts of those she has left behind.
