Stephen Mark Fuchs

Stephen M. Fuchs, 65, of Massillon, OH, passed away July 29, 2026.

Steve was born July 26, 1961, to the late William and Violet Fuchs. In 1978, Steve enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, and separated from duty in May of 1981.

Steve was always busy and involved in multiple projects. He was a huge Massillon Tiger football fan; the fact that they won the state championship game was one of the greatest things to ever happen to him! He was known for his sense of humor and getting along with everyone. Steve never knew a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rohr; grandchildren Kaitlyn Rohr, Emily Rohr, Carter Rohr, and Gemma Rohr; sisters Sandy Dietz (Gary), Judy Day (David), and Jodi Flounders (John).

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5 – 7 PM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. N, Massillon, OH 44646. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:15 PM, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Rittman, OH). Funeral procession to the cemetery will form at 12:30 PM and will promptly leave Paquelet Funeral Home at 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steve’s family, in care of Paquelet Funeral Home, to support the family during this difficult time.
