Stephanie Rivera

Stephanie Rivera, 77, of Massillon, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at her home in Massillon.

She was born on January 3, 1949, to Steve and Betty (Reese) Horvath at Massillon, OH.

Stephanie worked as an Office Manager for Progressive Chevrolet for many years before retiring.

She married Joseph Rivera, and they settled in Massillon, Ohio and are lifelong residents. Stephanie loved the family get together at her home and particularly during the holiday season. You could always find Stephanie and her 4-legged companion Cleo going for walks in the neighborhood. She and Celo were un-separable, because where Stephanie went Cleo was right by her side.

Stephanie is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Rivera; sister, Penny Henry; and brother, Steve Horvath, both from Massillon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Betty (Reese).

At Stephanie's request cremation has taken place and a Life Celebration will be planned for a later date.
