Stanton A. Crofut

Stanton A. Crofut, 89, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away April 7, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1936 to the late Stanton and Stella Crofut.

Stanton was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He was active within his church, Grace United Church of Christ, where he was always willing to lend a hand. In his spare time, Stanton enjoyed woodworking, bowl making, and enjoying the outdoors. You could find him sitting on his swing, or out bike riding with friends he cared deeply for.

In addition to his parents, Stanton is preceded in death by his sisters, Marie McKenzie and Betty Shanklin.

Stanton is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Eileen M. Crofut; and a host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, including Connie Klein and Rosemary Slinger, who assisted with his care giving.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Military honors and a memorial service will take place at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
