Shirley Ann 'Hewitt' Smith

Shirley Ann 'Hewitt' Smith age 63 of Canton passed away Thursday December 21, 2006 at Aultman Hospital. She was born July 17, 1943 in Dover, OH to the late Louie & Lillie B. ( Moore) Hewitt. Shirley was a 1962 graduate of Washington High School. She was a former employee of the Massillon State hospital and a member of the Canton Temple of Praise. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Hewitt (1987) and brothers, Danny L. Hewitt, John Cook & James Moore. Her memory is cherished by her husband, Tom Smith of Canton. Her Children: Robert L. Hewitt of Massillon, Candice Stewart of Massillon, Clarence C. Stewart of Canal Fulton and Eugene Stewart Jr. of Canton. Brothers & Sisters: Annie (Frank) Roberts of Atlanta, GA, Agnes Townsend of Canton, Dr. Robert (Nicole) Hewitt of Chambersburg, PA and Quentin Hewitt of Massillon. There are 18 grandchildren and one great grandson. A Homegoing Celebration of Shirley's Life will be at 11 AM Friday at the Canton Temple of Praise. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery.
