Sharon Lee Dixon, a kind and caring soul who touched the lives of many, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2026. Born on July 5, 1945, Sharon's lifetime was marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community.
Sharon retired after years of hard work as a secretary, where she was esteemed by colleagues for her dedication and warmth. During her life, Sharon was a devoted member of Trinity Brethren Church, finding joy and strength in her faith. She cherished attending church services and her WMS where she was deeply engaged with her community.
Family was the cornerstone of Sharon’s life. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Donna (Richard) Elliott, and her sons, Timothy (Karen) Dixon Jr. and Thomas Dixon. Sharon’s spirit lived on vibrantly through her grandchildren, Richard Elliott, III, and Jared Dixon, and great-grandchildren, Kellen Elliott, Naomi Elliott, and Lucy Elliott, all of whom she adored deeply. She also leaves behind beloved brother, William Shultz, Jr.
Sharon greatly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life — traveling to new destinations, spending cherished moments with her cherished girls from Waco, who she met with regularly, and engaging in lively card games with other great friends. Her joyful laughter and warm heart made her a treasured friend and confidante to many.
Her family and friends remember Sharon as a woman of great kindness and compassion who brought light and love into every room she entered. Though her loving husband of 58 years, Tim Dixon, Sr., her father, Robert Fry, her mother, Mildred Shultz, her step-father, William Shultz, and her brother, Robert Fry Jr., have preceded her in death, the legacy she leaves behind is enduring.
Sharon Dixon’s life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the honor to know her. May her memory be a blessing to those she leaves behind.
