Scott Sanford

Scott Sanford, 71, of Massillon Ohio passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his home in Massillon.

Scott was born July 20.1954 to Larry and Barb Sanford and most of his life in Massillon. He has 3 siblings: Rick Sanford, Vicki Miller and Karen Marsh.

Scott was known for his love of art, music, specifically classic rock. He loved playing guitar and having an ice-cold beer. He had a vast knowledge of music, musicians and philosophical topics. He loved to laugh and spending time with family and friends.

Scott is survived by his 2 daughters, Rachel Wright and Jessica Minor. As well as 3 grandchildren, Trent Sanford, Vincent Wright and Soren Wright, his brother Rick Sanford and sister Karen (Doug) Marsh.

Scott leaves behind a legacy of love of music, art, classic rock, and his love and friendship and his daughters, and son, the things he cherished the most. defined by love, 

Per Scott's request, cremation has taken place, and the family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life later.
