Scott A. Gerber

Scott A. Gerber, 55, of Navarre, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2026, at Aultman Hospital.

Scott was born on October 28, 1970, in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from Fairless High School in 1989 and from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1993 and later worked for U.S. Bank. Scott was a devoted Ohio sports fan who loved cheering on the Guardians, Cavaliers, Browns, and especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. One of his favorite sports memories was attending the Buckeyes’ National Championship victory in 2003. Above all, Scott loved his family and treasured the time he spent with those closest to him.

Scott is survived by his loving children, Leo (Kayla Kemer) Gerber and Ayla Gerber; his mother, Lauretta (Porrini) Gerber; his brothers, Dr. Michael (Maria) Gerber and Dr. Gregory Gerber; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. “Sonny” Gerber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish in Navarre. Inurnment will follow at St. Clement Cemetery.

Following the inurnment, the family would like to invite family and friends for Celebration of life at the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support Scott’s children, Leo and Ayla.
