Sandra L. Elliott

Sandra Louise Elliott, born December 22, 1947, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the age of 78.

Sandra lived a life grounded in devotion to those she loved most. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1966 and later graduated from Stark State College. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she was known especially for the love she gave so freely to them. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon, a place that held special meaning for her.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward with gratitude and affection: her son, Daniel Elliott; daughter, Mary (Joseph) Cutlip; and son, Scott (Shelly) Elliott. Her grandchildren: Ashley (Andrew) Smith, Jesse (Christopher) Cunningham, Michael (Caley) Elliott, Ryan (Merideth) Cutlip, Steven (Morgan) Elliott, Kyle (Nichole) Cutlip, Isaac (Morgan) Elliott, Zachary (Amiya) Cutlip, Nicholas (Triska) Cutlip, and Savannah Elliott. Sandra also leaves behind twenty-four great-grandchildren. The love Sandra had for her family was a defining part of her life, and that love remains a lasting gift to those who knew her best.

Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Danny Elliott; her parents, Homer and Pearl Wayts; and her great-granddaughter, Maddison Cunningham.

Sandra will be remembered for the unconditional love she poured into any soul she met. She was a safe haven for anyone in need. Her home was a place of laughter, movies, and comfort. She was a perfect reflection of God's mercy and brought each person closer to Him with her faith. Words can never do justice to the woman she was. An angel on Earth that we got lucky enough to love and to be loved by. She will be missed until we see her again.

Calling hours will be held on September 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. A Mass will be celebrated on September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Joseph), 322 3rd St SE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie Street, Massillon, Ohio 44646. Following the graveside service, a gathering will be held at The Ponds Venue, 10547 Manchester Ave SW, Beach City, Ohio 44608.
