Ruth E. Yarnell

Ruth E. Yarnell, age 77 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday at Aultman Hospital after a sudden illness. Ruth was born June 7, 1931 in Cambridge to the late Nearess & Alma (Bond) McCarty and moved to Massillon in 1954. She retired from Oreida Foods in 1999 and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Yarnell (1990), brother, Glenn McCarty. Ruth is survived by four children; James C. (Kara) Yarnell Jr., Richard (Ruth) Yarnell, Georgia Yarnell, Howard (Cheryl) Yarnell all of Massillon; three sisters and two brothers, Alice Fisk, Louella Lanning, Laura Combs, Charles McCarty and Roy McCarty; thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. David Adkins will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 9 AM until the service at the funeral home.
