Rose Marie Anthony Bechara

Rose Marie Anthony Bechara "Aunt Marie", 97, of Massillon, Ohio, went home to be with her savior, surrounded by her loving family on May 14, 2026. She was born on February 23, 1929 to the late John M and Rose M Anthony.

Rose was a 1947 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She was a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of the Christian Mother Society of Massillon. Rose was employed by Anthony Supermarket, Arcade Market, and Sanitary Ice Cream, she also owned various beverage centers and nightclubs in Youngstown.

In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph M Bechara; sisters, Juliet, Clair, and Margaret Anthony; brother, Maurice Anthony

She is survived by her loving nephew, John (Pat) Anthony; three nieces, Roseann (Eli) Devich, Maureen Anthony, and Dana (James) Reinhard; 3 great-nephews, Gabriel Anthony, Anthony (Gina) Reinhard, and Davis Reinhard; 2 great-nieces, Leah Anthony and Theresa (Hope) Reinhard; 2 great-great-nieces, Nora and Harper; and sister-in-law Hilda Anthony Dorff.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. An additional half hour of visitation will take place from 9:00am to 9:30am on Friday, May 22, 2026, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, and a luncheon will follow at 12:00pm at Morrie's Place 3305 Lincoln Way E Massillon, OH 44646.
