Rosalie E. Helline, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at the age of 87. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a warmth that touched all who knew her.
Born on April 21, 1939, Rosalie was the cherished daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth O'Neill. From her earliest days, she was instilled with values of kindness, perseverance, and a deep sense of family.
Rosalie was a proud graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School, where she forged lasting friendships and began her path of lifelong learning and commitment. Her early career found her at John Hancock Life Insurance, where she demonstrated her trademark attention to detail and her steadfast commitment to serving others. Later, working alongside her husband Gerald, she became an integral part of Helline Financial Services, a business they built and nurtured together. Her wisdom, professionalism, and care were a source of inspiration to colleagues and clients alike.
Above all else, Rosalie’s heart belonged to her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Gerald Helline Sr., whose companionship in life and business brought her much joy. She was a loving mother to her sons, Gerald (Lori) Helline Jr., Timothy (Jacqueline) Helline, and Steve (Susan) Helline, and to her daughter, Jean (Michael) Raymondi. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support provided them with a foundation of love and guidance.
Rosalie’s legacy flourishes in her grandchildren: Gerald III, Heather, Bridgette, Sarah, Quintin, Daniella, Brody, and Joseph; She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren. To each, she was a source of pride, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her home was always open, her arms always welcoming, and her wisdom a guiding light. Her deep love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Elizabeth O'Neill, as well as her beloved husband, Gerald Helline Sr. Rosalie’s memory will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
As we say goodbye to Rosalie E. Helline, we honor a life dedicated to love, faith, and service. Her memory will remain an enduring blessing to all who were privileged to know her.
All are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on July 24, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646. A Mass will follow at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Mary’s), 206 Cherry Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646, beginning at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
