Ronald John Blicharski, 87, of Massillon, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 24, 2025 at Danbury of Massillon. He was born in McKeesport, PA on March 19, 1938 to the late John Blicharski and Kathryn (John) {Galusky} Tuday.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son-in-law Ishmael Wayne Hibbard.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters, Pamela Shanklin, Judith Hibbard, Suzanne Blicharski and Sandra (Jeff) Pigott; grandchildren Stephanie (Mike Kasek) Crow, Jacob Shanklin, Lucas (Danielle) Shanklin and Kylie Pigott; great-grandchildren Aubriana and Connor Crow; twin brother Donald Blicharski; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

After graduating from Glassport High School in Glassport, PA, Ronald joined the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, he began his career in data processing management, retiring from Nickle's Bakery in 2003.

Ronald was a longtime member of St. Mary's Parish in Massillon, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 206 Cherry Rd. NE Massillon, OH 44646 on Wednesday, July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will follow in the chapel at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, where well-deserved military honors will be rendered.
