Roberta "Bobbie" Jane Groff

Roberta "Bobbie" Jane Groff, 78, of Massillon, passed away on November 29, 2025 at Aultman Hospital, Canton.

She was born on July 8, 1947 to the late Robert and Mary (Geopfert) Hug in Massillon, OH.

A 1965 graduate of Washington High School, she was a member of Holy Family Parish, Navarre. A devout Catholic, Bobbie was a member of The Women's Society and Grief Share group. Her world was her grandchildren, attending all their activities. She even expanded that roll to everyone she met. Bobbie enjoyed baking, bingo, cards, dominos and short adventures with her church friends. She enjoyed spending time at the lake house on Seneca Lake with her family boating and jet skiing. She approached life with an easy laugh and a joyful heart.

Bobbie is survived by her loving sons & daughters-in-law, Darin and Lori Groff and Tracy and Stephanie Groff; sister, Mary Jo Manwaring; grandchildren, Lillian, Hannah, Dawson, and Lucas; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Ray Groff.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 9:00am - 9:30 am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 10:00 am at the Holy Family Parish, Navarre.

Burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to.Holy Family Parish, Navarre.
