Robert “Bob” Warner, age 90, passed away peacefully on July 19,2025, in Canton, Ohio. Born on November 27, 1934, in Dennison, Ohio, Bob lived a long and full life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and a passion for simple joys.

Bob proudly served in the Unite States Army as a Private E-2. Stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he worked as a cook and steward-roles that reflected his lifelong love of preparing food for others. His time in the military instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and commitment that carried through every chapter of his life.

Upon return from the military, he started working for Nickels Bakery in Navarre. He devoted 33 years until he retired in 2001.

A man known for his warmth and generosity, Bob found great joy in three enduring passions: spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren was the true joy of his life. His love of fishing was known by all who knew him; whether by casting a line from the shore or sharing stories about the one that got away, Bob found peace and happiness near the water. In the kitchen, he was equally at home-his baked goods were cherished by family and friends alike.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ellen V. Warner (Gibson), and his mother Minnie Warner (Dickey). He leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward his memory: Children Michelle Levan, Ben Warner and Sara Silket (Charles). Grandchildren Brent Warner (Joyce), Shae Harvey, Zach Levan (Belle), Drew Levan, Sierra Martin, Christopher Silket and twelve great-grandchildren.

His legacy lives on through those who knew him best through shared recipes passed down with care, quiet mornings spent fishing with loved ones, and memories built over decades of steadfast presence.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Robert had requested that there be no formal services and that friends and family should gather at his home to remember him.
