Robert "Bufford" L. Crawford

Robert "Bufford" L. Crawford, 78, of Franklin Township, Ohio, passed away January 31, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1947 in West Virginia to the late Nellie Ruth Crawford and Lewis D. Crawford.

Bob worked as an over the road truck driver for many years. He spent over 20 years with Consolidated Freightways, where he made many friendships. He never met a stranger, and could make conversation with anyone. He was a family man, who enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by those in his life.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Crawford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lola Crawford; children, Lori (John) Durkin, Dina Crawford, and Dawn Crawford; grandchildren, Courtney (Seth) Sutton and Connor L. Durkin; brother, Larry (Betty) Crawford; sisters, Charlotte (Bob) Woods and Terry Hartley; several nieces and nephews; and special aunt and uncle Anne and Howard Salisbury.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and The Pavilion of Canal Fulton for their loving and compassionate care of Bob.

A Celebration of Life will be held in late April, with details to come soon.
