Richard L. Miller, a devoted family man, dedicated salesperson, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. Born on June 14, 1943, Richard's life was marked by service, love, and a deep commitment to those around him.

Richard took great pride in his service with the Army National Guard during the Vietnam era, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a strong sense of duty and patriotism. Following his military service, he found fulfillment in his career as a salesperson for Builders Square in Canton, where his dedication and friendly demeanor earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

Being a Jehovah’s Witness, Richard regularly attended the Kingdom Hall, a place where he found spiritual comfort and a strong sense of belonging. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life, offering solace and community.

An avid outdoorsman and craftsman, Richard enjoyed woodworking and fishing, activities that allowed him to express his creativity and love of nature. His passion for gardening brought beauty and life to his home, reflecting the care and dedication he poured into every aspect of his life.

Richard was a loving husband to his wife, Shelilah Miller, and a proud father to his son Scott (Bobbi) Miller, and daughters Cammy (Tim) Kuberry and Samantha (Jesse) Miller. He was also part of a large and close-knit family, including seventeen brothers and sisters, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren who were fortunate to share in his warmth and kindness.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Pearl and Arthur Miller, whose legacy lives on in the hearts of their children and grandchildren.

Richard L. Miller's life was a testament to the values of dedication, love, and faith. His memory will continue to inspire all those who knew him, and his impact will be felt deeply by his family and community. He will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who had the honor of knowing him.
