Richard F. Gelesky

Richard F. Gelesky, age 69 of Dunnellon, Fl formerly of the Massillon area, passed away at his residence Wednesday morning following a brief courageous battle with cancer. Richard was born on March 22, 1937 in Canton to the late Frank and Mary (Babick) Gelesky. He owned and operated Gelesky Tire on Perry Road for many years. Richard was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massillon. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Cynthia (Bast) Gelesky, Daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Paul Mack of Ocala, Fl, granddaughters, Rachael and Kathryn “Katie” Mack of Ocala, Fl., and his son, Dave Gelesky of Ocala, Fl. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin McCaffrey, celebrant. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Arnold – Lynch Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
