Richard C. 'Dick' Eisenbrei, 93, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, surrounded by his family. Dick was born on July 13, 1931, the son of the late Lester and Velda (Swier) Eisenbrei.
He graduated from Miami University in 1953 and was a member of Miami's Hughes Society. He retired from the Timken Company after 38 years of service in accounting, finance, and strategic planning. Dick attended law school at the University of Akron during his time at Timken. Spending time with his family was most important to him. He built doll houses for all of his granddaughters, and scale ship models that he shared with family. Dick was an avid golfer. After retirement, he played extensively with a group of area retirees. He was in charge of calculating handicaps for the group. He loved travel, particularly the mountainous western states. Dick volunteered his time at many community organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Eisenbrei, with whom he shared 72 years of marriage; children, Patricia (Ralph) Reynolds of Beavercreek, OH, Carol (Courtney) Harlan, of Seville, OH, and Richard (Andrea) Eisenbrei, of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Hilary (Brian) Grey, Lindsey (Brian) Dean, Benjamin Harlan, Jill (Jack) Nikolopoulos, Erin (Ben) Tarney, Malorie (Ben) Eisenbrei Rice, and Daria Eisenbrei; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Courtney Harlan Jr.
