Renita Denise Smith, 67, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away August 29, 2026. She was born on October 27, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Kenneth L. Smith and Elizabeth Jefferson Smith.
Renita was a devout student and studied religious materials and her Bible daily. She appreciated her work, and the people she worked with at AnSer Ohio. Renita enjoyed watching films, visiting with friends and relatives, and attending church.
Renita is survived by her brother, Jace (Michiko) Smith; and special cousins, Carol (Brock) Herring, Tanya Jefferson, and Gloria Williams.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
