Patricia "Pat" A. Bratton, 92, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away March 27, 2026. She was born on February 9, 1934, in Massillon to the late Robert C. and Betty J. (Mausz) Paul.
Patsy was a 1952 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years, where she helped teach first grade CCD. Patsy also worked as a monitor and clinic aide at L.J. Smith Elementary School for many years and was a member and volunteer at the Massillon Woman's Club, where she worked in the gift shop. Patsy loved having a family, she considered them her greatest accomplishment.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Bratton; and brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Deni Paul.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Cynthia) Bratton, Mark (Diane) Bratton, Leslie (Tom) Horst, Steven (Cindy) Bratton, and David Bratton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Jaime, Justin, Kennedy and Karsen; great-grandchildren, Eva, Myra, Maximus, Emma, Austin, Giavana, Mallory, Niko, and Logan; brother; Dave (Marsha) Paul; many other extended family members; and her beloved cat, Skeeter.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio. An additional hour of visitation will take place from 9:00am to 10:00am Friday, April 3, 2026 with funeral services immediately following at 10:00am, Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio.
