Patricia A. Moore, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Born on December 6, 1940, Patricia’s life was marked by her joyful spirit and her enduring commitment to family and friends.

A proud graduate of Springfield Local High School in Amsterdam, Ohio, Patricia embarked on a career that would span many years, retiring from Frito Lay after demonstrating unwavering dedication and hard work. Throughout her life, she was known for her ever-happy demeanor and was often heard whistling a tune, a small but distinctive expression of her warm and cheerful nature.

Patricia’s familial bonds were deep, and she leaves behind a loving legacy carried on by her children: Matt McCallum, Doug McCallum, Jeff (Jennifer) McCallum, and Cynde (Dale Nicholson) McCallum. Her siblings, sisters Irene (Chris) Patton and Jeanie Stidd, remain in her life, providing comfort and companionship.

Her devotion extended to her grandchildren, who were the joy of her later years: Brittany (Michael) Scheitlin, Heather (Stephen) Schmitz, Patrick (Kristen) McCallum, Lauren (Joey) deGuia, Jason (Makayla) McCallum, Alexandra (Jonathan) Miller, Chase (Miranda) Blossom, Delaney McCallum, and Dominic Jenkins. Patricia also delightfully embraced her role as great-grandmother, surrounded by many great-grandchildren who knew her as a beacon of love and warmth.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Christie and Felicia Viola Christie, and several siblings: John Christie, Ed Christie, Bob Christie, Joseph Christie, Sophie Crabs, and Marcia Sullinger. Their memories remain woven into the fabric of her life, cherished and remembered.

Patricia A. Moore’s life was a testament to happiness, family devotion, and unwavering kindness. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she loved with her unyielding positivity and the gentle melodies that often accompanied her days.
