Orin Stanley Buttermore

Orin S. Buttermore Sr., age 78, of Massillon passed away on January 14, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on November 3, 1942, to the late Stanley and Evelyn Buttermore. Orin was a Washington High School graduate class of 1960. He married Karen Bucey in 1962. He became a wire drawer for Eaton Corp. where he retired after 30 years and went on to be co-owner of Jay’s Pizza. Orin was a member of the 32nd degree Mason at Scottish Rite Canton Temple and member of the Clinton Blue Lodge #47. He enjoyed fishing in Canada, hunting, and playing slot machines. Orin leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years Karen Buttermore; 3 children Tammy Dehoff, Orin Buttermore Jr. “Jay”, and Kimberly Woods; sister Carol (Ronnie) Lane; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his special canine companion Betty, and many nieces and nephews. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
