Norma J. Pendolino, born on October 4, 1939, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2026. She was a cherished member of the Massillon community, whose vibrant spirit and warm presence touched the lives of many.
A proud graduate of Washington High School in Massillon, Norma dedicated her professional career to Eaton's Manufacturing, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment. Beyond her career, she belonged to the community of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Barbara Catholic Church.
Norma was a woman who truly loved her family. She possessed a unique gift as a storyteller, sharing tales that could captivate any audience. Her fun-loving nature made her a joy to be around; she had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel included and valued. She was known for hosting numerous lively and memorable activities for family members, creating bonds and joyful memories that will be treasured forever.
Her passions extended beyond family gatherings. Norma loved traveling and camping, embracing the beauty of the outdoors and the adventure of new experiences. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and cherished the special times spent enjoying movie nights with her loved ones.
She is survived by her sisters, Bessie Jackson and Joan (David "Red") Smith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family who hold her dearly in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her sisters Francis Bender and Rose Pendolino; her loving parents, Samuel and Pauline Pendolino; her brother, Frank (Lynette) Pendolino; and her dear friend Violet Grillon.
Norma J. Pendolino’s memory will live on through the stories she told, the laughter she shared, and the love she so generously gave. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Calling hours will be held on March 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home located at 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. A Mass celebrating Norma’s life and legacy will follow on March 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Barbara's), 2813 Lincoln Way West, Massillon, Ohio 44647. Norma will be laid to rest at Brookfield Cemetery at a later date.
