Nellie June Zickefoose, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on November 20, 1936, Nellie was a radiant presence in her community, celebrated for her kindness and generosity. A woman of deep faith, she was a regular attendee of the First Assembly of God Church, where she found joy and purpose among her fellow congregants.

Throughout her life, Nellie demonstrated a passion for nurturing those around her. Her love for cooking was matched only by her talent in crocheting, both activities serving as expressions of her nurturing spirit. In her spare time, she enjoyed using her computer to create images that filled her world with color and creativity.

Nellie is survived by her devoted daughter, Debra Harvey; her sons, William "D.R." Simon and Michael P.; her brother, William Campbell; four cherished grandchildren; and nine beloved great-grandchildren. These family members were fortunate to receive her unconditional love throughout the years.

Nellie was preceded in death by her loving husband, E. David Zickefoose, with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her father, William Campbell; her mother, Eva Ackerman; and her sisters, Helen Paone, Connie Campbell, and Virginia Foster.

Nellie June Zickefoose leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the warmth and joy she brought into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.
