Nancy Caroline Schuler

Nancy Caroline Schuler, 94, of Massillon, passed away on March 4, 2025 at her home, surrounded by family. A lifelong resident of Massillon, Nancy was born on September 9, 1930 to the late Albert and Johanna {Brumme} Schultz.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Schuler, sons Richard and William Schuler and brother Albert Schultz Jr.

Nancy is survived by her loving sons Gary A. Schuler Sr. (Jody) and Tim Schuler (Diana "Dee"); 10 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School, and worked in the drapery department at O'Neil's Department Store/May Company at Canton Center for about 10 years, before focusing on her growing family. David and Nancy were longtime active members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Massillon.

Nancy was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her love for her family was paramount, which included her beloved dogs Bentley, Peanut, Buttons and countless others.

Per Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. She will be inurned at Brookfield Cemetery with her husband, David. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project, or the Salvation Army.
