Monica Marie Morgan, 66, of Copley, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025 after a three-year battle with cancer. Monica was born on April 14, 1959 in Akron to Robert and Patricia Morgan. She grew up in Bath and was the middle child of five siblings. After graduating from Revere High School in 1977, she attended college at The University of Akron and received her bachelor’s degree in English in 1981.
She dedicated most of her life to the Stoney Hill’s Station owned by her family. She built a strong community with the customers because they knew her to be caring and kind. Some of her greatest joys were spending time with her family like going to Florida for vacation and supporting her nieces and nephews. She was a generous and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great-aunt.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Patricia. She is survived by her siblings Kimberly Bliss (Steve), Tim (Mary), Celeste, and Christopher; her nieces Tammy, Megan, Katie (Neema), and Molly; her nephews Walter (Grace), Kevin (Erica), Nicholas (Brandi), and Wesley (Haley); her grandnieces and nephews Mallory, Julia, EJ, Evelyn, Delilah, Simon, Shepherd, Isaiah, and August; and her beloved dog Maxine.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Montrose Mount Zion Methodist Church, 565 N. Cleve-Massillon Rd. Akron 44333 followed by a celebration life at the Balch Street Theatre, 220 S. Balch St, Akron, OH 44302.
