Monica D. Furbay

Monica D. Furbay, 78, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1947, to the late Orrville F. and Dolly F. (Rizor) Furbay.

Monica worked for the Hoover Company and retired after 33 years. Following her retirement, she worked at Meldrums part-time. Family was everything to Monica, and although she didn't have children of her own, Monica was very much a second mother to her nieces and nephews. Monica loved to travel, enjoy meals with her family, and took pride in doing yard work. She loved life, and truly put others before herself. Monica will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her siblings, Karen Blake and Monte (wife, Glenda) Furbay: nieces, Debbie (husband, Jeffrey) Indorf and Regina Young; and nephews, Clif (wife, Rhonda) Burch, Danny Burch and Shane Burch.

Per Monica's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Monica's memory to the Stark County Humane Society.
