Michael William Browning

Michael William Browning, 61, of Dover, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born in Canton, Ohio on August 22, 1961, to Joseph Browning and Carolyn Winkler-Justice (nee Athens).

Michael was a graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School and worked for many years as a laborer in manufacturing. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping when he could. Michael was a born-again Christian.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Browning, and his Step-Father, Wayne Winkler.

Michael is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn (Jim) Winkler-Justice; sister, Nancy (Karl) Schmidt; brother, David (Patricia) Browning; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Jessica) Schmidt, Stacey (Daniel) Hyde, Sarah Browning and Luke (Paige) Schmidt; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Michael, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp CHOF, c/o Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646 with Pastor Jake Tovissi delivering a message of comfort and reassurance to those in attendance. Calling Hours for family and friends will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the funeral home.
