Michael Parsons

Michael David Parsons, 73, of Navarre, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on July 23, 2026 at his home.

He was born on May 12, 1953 to the late Lake and Jo Ann (Higgins) Parsons in Parkersburg, WV.

Michael was a sonar operator in the United States Navy in 1972. Later on in life, he became an electrician for Ecko Housewares in Massillon, Ohio, where he worked for 26 years. Following that, he worked for RW Screw in Massillon, Ohio for 13 years. He then later retired from Canton Drop Forge.

Michael loved antique cars and motorcycles, and spending time with his loving family.

He was a member of NOVA Car Club.

Michael is survived by his wife, Bobbi Jo; 6 children, Randall (Tyler) Parsons, Michael Parsons Jr., Ricci (Heather) Ridgley, Rebecca (Gerald) Harris, Cyndi Deitrich, and Linna (Charlie) Brewer; brothers, Thomas (Terry) Parsons, and Stephen (Sharon) Parsons; 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Gary (Shana) Parsons.

Visitation will be held on July 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio.

Funeral services will immediately follow on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
