It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Michael Joseph Jordan, 74, of Massillon, on Oct. 9, 2025.
A graduate of Washington High School, he was a master carpenter, and spent his career in construction and remodeling. He enjoyed helping his family and friends on their own projects where he had an eye for perfection, and the skill to match. We share many fond memories including Friday night pizza and Rock Band, where he was the star on lead guitar and vocals.
Born in Massillon, he was a son of the late Elmer H. and Florence A. (Ritzka) Jordan. Preceded in death by sisters Therese (Al) Matie, Jane (Mike) Fenton, brother Patrick Jordan; and brother-in-law Dennis Harwig.
Survived by his four children Kevin (Karen) Jordan, Kelly (Dan) Jordan, Keith (Anna) Jordan and Kerry (Ben) Jordan; 13 grandchildren Kaylee, Laney, Andrew, Carson, Landon, Dominik, Alyssa, Lacie, Kali, Kaiden, Connor, Kinsley, Bria; great-granddaughter, Aria; sisters Mary Ann Harwig and Karen (James) Lane; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at Brookfield Cemetery, Massillon.
