Michael Finsel

Michael "Mike" Finsel, 70, of Massillon, passed away on September 13, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on March 14, 1956 to the late Delbert and Margaret (Eckert) Finsel in Fostoria, OH.

Mike was an owner/operator for Best Foods for over 25 years. He was a social person: outgoing, extroverted, and energetic. His family and friends were the most important aspects of his life. Mike was loved by his family - especially his nieces and nephews. Above all else, he was memorable and will be missed.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Susan, sons, Michael Finsel, Jr. and Bryan (Amy) Scrimo, siblings Marilyn (Adolph) Netzel, Jane Evans, Barb Miller, Bea Bradshaw, Tom Finsel, Janice Majestic, and Bill Finsel, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Margaret Finsel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Basilica of St. John in Canton, OH.

Graveside Service will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
