Mary M. Ramsey

Mary M. Ramsey, 64, passed away on August 7, 2017, following a brief illness. She was born in Richwood, WV to the late Lloyd and Elsie (Mowery) Burgess on December 6, 1952. Mary was a great cook and a caring and warm friend to all she met. She truly never met a stranger. Known as everyone’s aunt she cared for everyone in need. Mary had a wonderful singing voice and a wonderful sense of humor always ready with a joke to share. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Paul Ramsey; their four children, Jason Ramsey, Lauren Ramsey, Shawn Ramsey and Brandon Ramsey all of Canton; six grandchildren, Logan Horger, Alexas Bowen, Brayden Ramsey, Bryson Kiko, Braxton Kiko and Brooklyn Kiko; her three sisters, Patricia Wilfong, Judie (Richard) Dalton and Carol Ramsey; and her two brothers, George Burgess and Ronald (Rebecca) Burgess. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Burgess; and two sisters, Nancy McGlothlin and Gloria Phillips. A Gathering of friends and family will take place at the Paquelet Funeral Home on September 1, 2017 from 5pm-7pm with a Celebration of her life at 7pm.
