Mary E. Aman

Mary E. Aman age 90 of Massillon passed away Tuesday November 22, 2005 at Amherst Meadows. She was born August 14, 1915 in Massillon to the late George & Ida (Stephan) Helline Jr. Mary lived her entire life in Massillon and assisted her late husband Ernest in the operation of Aman’s Auto Service at First & Lake Ave. She shared 58 years of marriage with her husband Ernie who passed away November 21, 1995. She was a good cook and welcomed all to her dinner table, adored her grandchildren, and followed the Massillon Tigers and the Cleveland Indians. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Massillon Women’s Club, Jackson AARP, and the Women of the Moose #481. She is survived by: Children: Carolyn Dieffenbaugher & Richard Petko of North Canton Edward & Nancy Aman of Sanford, NC William & Bonnie Aman of Massillon Richard & Pam Aman of Houston, TX 8 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massillon. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Donations can be made to the St. Mary’s Memorial Fund.
