Marie A. Boydelatour

Marie A. Boydelatour, age 98 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2026 at Brookdale of Canton surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1927 in Navarre, Ohio and was the daughter of Nicholas and Catherine (Hug) Langenfeld. She graduated from Navarre High School in 1945. She managed Milk Maid Candies for 10 years. Marie retired from Charter One bank in 1989 where she was an underwriter for mortgage loans. In her younger years, Marie loved to golf, ski, fish, and was the head of a card club she formed with her high school friends. Marie was involved within the Brookdale of Canton community where she spent her remaining years and was appointed as a resident ambassador. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Boydelatour, her husband, Robert Boydelatour whom she married on May 7, 1949, her brother, Tom Langenfeld, her sister, Nora Baker, and her daughter-in-law, Treva Boydelatour. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Sam) Slimak of Mogadore, her son James (Paula Buckingham) Boydelatour of Canton, her grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Santoro, Michael (Shelly) Boydelatour, and Justina, Jessica (Firat), and Natalie (Mary) Slimak, 5 great grandchildren Rachelle (Kyle) Cattarin, Reese Putnam, Clay Boydelatour, Finn, and Graham, and sister-in-law, Judith Langenfeld.
