Margaret L. Martin

Margaret L. Martin, 88, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away August 17, 2026. She was born on February 4, 1938 in Princeton, WV to the late Harrison and Lizzie Hicks.

Margaret was a member of Anchor Baptist Church where she was heavily involved. She would lend a hand to help in any way she could, taking on many roles over the years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, who would do anything for those she loved. She will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and love for her family and The Lord.

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, William K. Martin; granddaughter, Lindsey Law; and brother, Roy Hicks.

She is survived by her children, Rena Martin, Larry Martin, and Rick Martin; grandchildren, Nick, Trisha, Tracie, Tiffan, and Tanya; several great-grandchildren; sister, Beulah; nephew and niece, Vaughn and Reshinda; and nephew Charles.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 21, 2026 at the funeral home, with Pastor Shane Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
