Marcy Lee Waltz

Marcy Lee Waltz, 49, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2022. She was born on February 6, 1973 in Hiram. Marcy was a graduate of Tuslaw High School, Class of 1991 and worked as a machine operator for R.W Screw Machine. She was dedicated to her dog, Rio, music and spending time with friends and family. Marcy is survived by her life partner of twenty-two years, Chris R. Butcher; siblings, Kevin (Corrin) Waltz and Dina (Doug) Kraus; nephew, Joshua Kraus; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul D. and Wilma Waltz; and her mother, LaVerne C. (Smiar) Waltz. A Gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11am-12pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 11616 Sinclair Rd SW, Massillon, OH 44647. Memorials are suggested to the Stark County Humane Society.
