Lucille "Lucy" Weisgarber

Lucille "Lucy" Weisgarber, 93, of Massillon, passed away on June 10, 2026

She was born on January 29, 1933 to the late Edward and Alice (Shilling) Schaer in Marshallville, OH. She married the late Donald W. Weisgarber with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.

Lucille retired from Walmart after 10 years of employment, where she was known as "High Kicking Lucy." Her family will remember her enjoyment of parties and spending time with loved ones.

Lucille is survived by her son, Donald Weisgarber, Jr., sister, Helen Singer, grandchildren, Todd (Rachel) Woodard, Chad (Shannon) Woodard, Darrell (Kelly) Moser, and Traci (Daniel) Graham, and seven great grandchildren: Lily, Chase, Cali, Madelyn, Jarrett, Emma, and Mason.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Woodard, sisters, Mary Casto, Nettie Fogle, Dorothy Clark, and Annie Hershey, and brothers Robert, Ernest, and James Schaer.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 12:00pm at Paquelet Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Newman Creek Cemetery.
