Lloyd E. Porter, age 88, of Massillon, passed away June 8, 2026. Lloyd was born November 25, 1937 in Glendale, WV to the late Homer and Elsie (Swauger) Porter. Lloyd was a member of First United Methodist Church and a 1956 graduate of Gnadenhutten High School and served a 4 year apprenticeship with the Warner and Swasey Co. as a machinist. He then attended Fenn College and was employed with several companies in the machine tool industry before founding Massillon Tool Supply, Inc. in 1991. He was dedicated to his family. Lloyd enjoyed camping, water skiing, gardening, cutting grass, and riding motorcycles. He had a love of pets. In the last years he loved to drive his Little Red Truck.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by sister, Leona Hinds, and brother Leonard Porter.
He is survived by his wife, F. Kay (Ervin) Porter, son, Nathan K. (Jen) Porter, daughter, Kirsten B.(Larry) Swan, grandchildren, Benjamin (Mojca) Porter, Jessica Peyton, Nicholas Singer, and Lyndsey (Cody Burgess) Smith, great-grandchildren, Natalee Peyton, Xavier Singer, Bethany Singer, and Naomi Peyton.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Friday, June 19 at Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation or American Heart Association in Lloyd's memory.
