Lisa Ann Friend

Lisa A. Friend, 57, of Massillon, OH, passed away November 27, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born on December 3, 1967, in Orrville, OH to Donna Border and the late Elmer Lautenschlager. She was a 1986 graduate of Massillon-Washington High School. On May 19, 1990, Lisa married Troy Friend, the love of her life. Lisa was a member of St. Barbara’s Church. She was quite the outdoorsy type; Lisa enjoyed to plant flowers, mow the yard and spend time by the pool. Above all, Lisa loved spending time with her family, and Lulu her cat.

Lisa will be missed by her loving husband of 35 years, Troy friend; children Camrin Friend (Ja’Ron), Tyler Friend, D’Andre Lautenschlager and Ashlee Lautenschlager; grandchildren Geno, Wyatt, Izzy and O’Shea; mother, Donna Border and sister, Lynn Lautenschlager.

In addition to her father Elmer, Lisa is preceded in death by her daughter, Alex Elizabeth Friend; sister Lori Lautenschlager; grandparents Doris and Gene Border.

Per Lisa’s request, cremation will take place. A gathering in her honor will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5 – 7 PM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd., Massillon, OH 44646.
